The French Society of Genetics is a private association that brings together researchers, and, anyone interested in genetics in any of the many areas in which this scientific discipline is developped or being applied. Its roles are to promote genetics, stimulate interaction among French-speaking geneticists and their foreign colleagues, assist young people who wish to pursue a career in genetics, and represent French-speaking geneticists at the national and international levels.
